PrivateVault
PrivateVault is a free, offline encrypted file vault. Import your private photos, videos and documents, encrypt them locally with AES-256-GCM, and unlock them with a password or your fingerprint. Your files stay on your device — the vault works offline, and the app connects to the network only to show ads that keep it free.

Import via Android's document picker (no broad storage permission). Export decrypted copies only when you explicitly choose to.

How to move to PRO
In PrivateVault, create a password-protected encrypted backup and save it anywhere on your device. Open PrivateVault PRO, choose Restore, pick that backup file, and enter the same backup password. Your data stays offline, encrypted, and under your control the whole time — no cloud transfer required.
